It all started during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. After being in quarantine for five months, Rachel decided to attend Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics and Make-Up virtually to obtain her esthetics license. Graduating 4 ½ months later, UltraRay was born and so was Rachel’s embarkment into entrepreneurship.
Not only do we provide top-notch facial and body services that help nourish and keep the skin healthy, but Rachel also brainstormed and hand-makes all of the UltraRay product.
We aim to provide digestible education to all our clients, explaining the world of skincare in simple terms where clients can remain successful outside of the treatment room.

Born in Brooklyn, NY as a first-generation immigrant, for as long as I could remember, I’ve been obsessed with skincare. From watching my mother apply makeup so I can pick up on tips, to spending hours browsing the bath and body aisle in drugstores, the skin has always been very important to me.
I have a compounded career history in Fashion Production, Product Development, Wholesale, and Merchandising; however, during the lockdown caused by COVID-19, I found myself furloughed with lots of idle time.
I decided to invest in myself and attended Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics and Makeup here in NYC. Not only did I graduate with honors but UltraRay was born and my path into entrepreneurship began.
Here at UltraRay, my belief is to provide an accessible, clean, safe space in my community, where clients can receive professional treatments in-spa and also educational tools to continue the work at home. I want my clients to gain confidence in their skin and skincare routines as they embark on this journey.
